Roberto Oliva

Roberto represents foreign and national clients in litigation and arbitration matters and is also appointed as an arbitrator in domestic arbitration proceedings.

His practice focuses on commercial, corporate, banking and insolvency disputes.

Roberto is appointed as an arbitrator (also as chairperson or sole arbitrator) in administered and ad hoc arbitration proceeding and he is included in the lists of international arbitrators of a number of arbitration centres, ranging from London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) to Russian Arbitration Center.

He is member of The International Bar Association (IBA), the “Associazione Italiana dell’Arbitrato (AIA)” and The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). 

Roberto received a PhD in Constitutional law from the University of Ferrara and in 2003 was a visiting student at Cambridge University, St. John’s College.

Maria Elena Armandola

Maria Elena has been enrolled with the Milan Bar Association since 1999. Moreover, she has been enrolled with the Special Bar for Italian Supreme Court since 2011.

She assists both Italian and foreign clients in litigation and arbitration matters, in Italy and abroad. Maria Elena has broad experience, as counsel and arbitrator, both in "ad hoc" arbitration proceedings and in arbitration proceedings administered by both Italian and foreign institutions (Chamber of Arbitration of Milan, International Chamber of Commerce, or Singapore International Arbitration Centre, among others).

Maria Elena’s practice areas focus on commercial law (in particular, international trade agreements), corporate law, insolvency law, competition law and libel matters.

She is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
