An arbitration clause contained in the statute of a consortium, providing for the referral to arbitrators of disputes "between consortium members", must be interpreted according to its literal terms and does not extend to disputes between the consortium, as an autonomous legal entity, and an individual consortium member, in accordance with the principle of strict construction of arbitration clauses, which precludes extending a derogation from ordinary jurisdiction beyond its textual limits.
