In proceedings for the ratification of an award under art. 825 cod. proc. civ. the court is called upon only to ascertain the formal regularity of the award, any assessment of the lawfulness of the award itself being precluded.
For a declaration that the award is enforceable there are required the production of the instrument containing the arbitration clause, the filing of a certified copy of the award and the presence in the award of the elements listed in art. 823 cod. proc. civ.
