An arbitration clause referring to arbitration disputes concerning the validity, application, performance and interpretation of the contract also extends to disputes relating to breach or termination of the same contract, since the agreement, in the absence of an express contrary intention, must be interpreted broadly, with reference to all disputes concerning claims arising out of the contract.
The arbitration clause does not lapse upon termination of the contract to which it relates, given the autonomy of the clause vis-a-vis the transaction to which it refers.
