The correction of an arbitral award already deposited with the court must be requested, pursuant to Article 826 of the Code of Civil Procedure, from the court of the place where the deposit was made, with application of the provisions of Article 288 of the Code of Civil Procedure insofar as they are compatible. It follows that a correction made by the arbitrator after deposit of the award, without compliance with the formal requirements provided by the Code, cannot be deemed capable of rectifying the clerical error and results in a formal irregularity of the award that precludes the grant of an order for enforcement.
