The president of the court of the district where the arbitration is seated has jurisdiction to extend the time limit for filing the arbitral award pursuant to art. 820 para. 3 lett. b of the Code of Civil Procedure when there is no joint application by all procedural parties.
The extension of the time limit for filing the arbitral award may be granted when the time limit originally established in the arbitration clause proves insufficient to ensure proper adversarial proceedings between the parties and the regular conduct of the arbitral proceedings.
