Legal Principle

For the purposes of the declaration of enforceability of an institutional arbitral award pursuant to Article 825 of the Code of Civil Procedure, the president of the competent court is required to verify the formal regularity of the award, his own territorial jurisdiction and the existence of a valid arbitration agreement between the parties.
