Once an in-court agreement on the arbitration objection has been formed – through the opposing party’s acceptance of the objection raised by the claimant – the parties lose the power to alter their respective positions on the point, including the power to withdraw the objection to the court’s jurisdiction, by virtue of the general principles governing the formation of agreements and the binding nature of receptitious acts.
