In the event of the total annulment of an arbitral award, the continuation of the proceedings pursuant to Article 278 of the Code of Civil Procedure concerns the entire rescissory phase, without the individual grounds of challenge originally raised retaining any relevance, and without any issue estoppel arising save in respect of the annulment of the award itself, the cognisance of the merits of the original dispute remaining entirely open.
