The application for recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, pursuant to art. 839(1) of the code of civil procedure, must be filed with the president of the court of appeal in whose district the party against whom recognition is sought resides, so that the court of appeal seised lacks territorial jurisdiction where the registered office of the respondent is situated in another district.
