In proceedings opposing the recognition of a foreign award, the applicant’s discontinuance of the proceedings and abandonment of the claim, accepted by the other party, bring the proceedings to an end and entail the revocation of the presidential decree of exequatur, with the consequent release of the security provided for the purposes of the stay of enforceability of the award.
