Legal Principle
The inadmissibility of the late cross-appeal entails the absorption of the objection to the court's competence based on arbitration raised therein in the alternative, which therefore remains unexamined. An arbitration clause validly agreed and specifically approved by the parties vests competence in the arbitrators over the disputes referred to it.
