For the purposes of recognising the enforceability of a foreign arbitral award pursuant to Articles 839 and 840 of the Code of Civil Procedure and the New York Convention of 10 June 1958, the court seised must verify the production of the arbitration clause and the award in original form with a certified translation, compliance with the principle of due process in the conduct of the arbitral proceedings, the arbitrability of the dispute under the law of the forum, and the absence of any conflict with public policy.
