The declaration of enforceability of an arbitral award pursuant to art. 825 of the Code of Civil Procedure constitutes a control of mere formal regularity that does not involve re-examination of the merits of the arbitral decision, being limited to verification of the existence of the procedural requirements provided by law for recognition of the executory effect of the award.
